I can see the Lane Assist in the Car Menue but if I select it it tells me:

Lane Assist zurzeit nicht verfügbar. Translation: Means Lane Assist currently not available.

=> When I check the Errors I receive under the Control Unit A5 2 errors:

1. Databus missing message

Fault Code U112100

Status Static

2. Steering Interface for Lane departure warning system not coded

Fault code: C10ACF2

Status Intermittent

=> The following is wrong what I wrote and needs to be deleted again because I choosed the wrong Unit Control and wrong namings -> Please change the coding to the following new one:

please check the app.
nothing happens when I choose "On" and then apply with the checkmark.
Just the credits were deducted. I tried it twice. Checked the control units (A5, 17, 44) and the coding hasn't change the values or has not activated the bits.

Still not changing the values. E.g. control unit A5 -> Byte 16 -> Bit 7 -> should be active. But it is still not active.

When I leave the OCA Lane Assit and enter again the value is again "Original" and not "On"

Should I post any special things here as you mentioned the full backup?

Hi guys,
I have the same issue with my Passat B8 2016. The one click app doesn`t activate anything, just takes the credits. I have the windshield A5 camera and the ACC camera installed and working from factory. Did anyone have any luck with activating lane assist via app or long coding/adaptation? The option shows in my dashboard but when I try to activate it says "Option not available".

I just recently bought a second-hand VW Passat B8 Variant from 2019, I'm new to this forum, new to VW and also new to obd-eleven and coding etc. so probably I'm asking stupid questions.....
But currently my car does not have lane-assist, but it does have adaptive cruise-control.
Would it be possible to add/enable lane-assist on my car by just typing some codes via obd-eleven tool ? or does this also require some hardware to be installed in my car ?
I bought the OBD-Eleven pro pack, and now I'm looking how to use this tool, but I'm a bit confused on how it all works....
