Hi all,
I’ve recently ordered an OBDeleven device and have been looking through the supported vehicle one click applications, I have a golf and a tiguan and have noticed that some things are available on one but not the other.
The golf has the option for OPS time, volume and volume down, however, the tiguan does not have this list of modifications listed under it. My question is:
Can I use one click applications for a different model of VW on another model of VW? I.e. can I unlock the ops volume app for the golf on the tiguan?
I hope that makes sense, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bearing in mind this is a user forum.
One click apps are vehicle specific so no you can use them cross veicles.
Why is there a difference between the two, firstly the Golf is the most active user base so lots more information is shared on that car. Secondly (and just as important) one click apps are built by OBD11 but at the request of users who provide the coding. Thus if nobody has provided the coding then there is no app built.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for answering that, I’m gutted that the apps I want are available for the golf but not the tiguan, how do you ask OBDeleven to create more apps and generally how long does it take to actually become live from requesting? Thanks.

You will need to provide the coding otherwise it will not move forward quickly.
Re turn around, I have had apps built within a few days but others take a long time, I am more into coding that using other apps so afraid I dont pay attention to the time line.
Hope that helps.
