Hi i've just had a mib 2.5 pro nav retro fitted and everything works fine.
The unit must of come from an e-golf or a GTE as it has a e-manager tab and also an electric drive and charge in the settings menu.
Is their any way to remove this.
Thanks in advance.

dean5i : Hi and very good question!!
I'm not sure of the complete answer but Byte 1-2 on the hex5F module define the type of vehicle that the MIB must manage. I suggest that you compare the early part of the long-code string from your old and new units as a starting point. I suspect that there are probably adaptation channel changes needed too - so a comparison of the data from the back-up files for the 2 x MIBs might be needed as well

Yes, look in the long coding for the word "hybrid" and disable them. Also some battery related options have to be switched off.

Hi
Did you ever manage to sort this coding ?
I’ve the same issue Well it’s not an issue, just a button I don’t want/need.
I also had a LHD image in my air conditioning But that was easily sorting in the long coding
Thanks
Dave
