I recently used the newly added ambient lighting color app, tried the 30 color option over my custom 30 colors I did to see what the difference was, wasn’t a fan, so I swapped back to the 10 color list to restore the stock colors for the car, but unfortunately it didn’t restore the original 10 colors the car came with and I only made note of the custom colors I added after the original 10. So if anyone with a ambient lit Jetta that has the values of the original stock 10 colors please post them here. The original 10 color list can be found in Central Electronics>Adaptations>Ambient Light Color List (or something like that) and you should see RGB lines for the original 10 colors. Thank you

Hi, I requested the app to be created and it was but it's not working as intended. There should be an option where it says Original or Off and that should take care of your problem

The off option removed ambient lighting completely. I did not see an original option but will check again and post results.
I viewed the app again and noticed the new options, however for current value it says “unknown” and trying to change the value with the options available results in an error that just says “error” with a try again button. Other apps do work so it’s just this one I’m having issues with

I’m getting the same error message with the try again button. Status of the code says “unknown” 2019 GLI with the smaller infotainment screen.
In addition - I’m getting a fault code U111000 now from control unit 17 dashboard. Cleared the code but it comes back, I’d assume a line of code is broken from this error

Is there any fix for the app error yet when trying to apply the options? If not can someone post the original 10 values for the Jetta ambient lights colors? I would like to get this issue resolved

Update: I just realized, as this is not the first Jetta I have owned in this generation as well as coded with OBDeleven, the app preserved the settings from my last scan on my previous Jetta for me to look back and read which included the RGB values of the original ambient lighting colors, so I was able to restore the ambient lighting to what it was before using the one click app and everything seems to be working perfectly fine.

I am also having issues with this… I tried the various options the other night but once the change was uploaded it wouldn’t let me select the different colors. So I switched it to the 10 colors OEM and was able to choose different colors. This morning I reconnected and went back in to it and it switched me to a color pallet that’s basically different shades of purple. It’s telling me the current value is UNKNOWN and every time I try to select a different option it says error try again. I’ve tried disconnecting the device and reconnecting multiple times and nothing is working. Any suggestions?

I also used that app for 30 colors and now my foot light is always white nonmother what I do and I lost option for diming all panels, even if is dimming light on screen the led bars stay the same same. I also did manual change to driving mode colors, can this be a issue I think is a 30 colors app... how to manually reverse all that bad ??
