Hi all. I’ve fitted a pair of LED DRL/High Beam bulbs. I’ve changed the Lasttyp value of Leuchte8FL & Leuchte9FL to 5 - LED Abblendlicht. They work much as they should but I’ve got one very annoying problem. When they are on as DRLs (auto mode) the high beams do not work to flash. Everything else is fine. They should definitely be able to do this as when I change the headlight selector to the side/parking lights the DRLs dim slightly to what they should be and the high beams work to flash. So basically I need to find a way to have my DRLs (in auto mode) to work like the sidelights do (at the front). I hope I’ve explained this properly.

When a mk7 is factory fitted with non-incandescent headlight assemblies, the high-beam lamp is controlled by Leuchte 10 & Leuchte 11 (SHUTTER)
What you are attempting is very non-standard for mk7s!! Leuchte 8 & Leutche 9 are ONLY used for the high-beam function when the car is fitted with headlights that have incandescent lamps. When a mk7 has Xenon/LED high-beam lamps, these Leuchte-sets are used for other purposes, or they are not used at all.
I suspect that your choice of Lasttyp/Dimmwert value is causing the problem - but since nothing is known about the retrofitted lamps, I'm just guessing.
First, change -Dimmwert AB from 100 to 127 on both Leuchte 8 & Leutche 9- does the same problem remain?
If so, leave Dimmwert AB as above and experiment with other Lasttyp values - perhaps start with 2 Shutter; Diagnosesensierung für "LED low" - but again, I guessing because the characteristics of the 3rd-party retrofitted lamps is unknown

Thanks for your response. I think I understand what you mean. Basically I should change the lamp type values of the shutter sets? I see no reason why it can’t somehow work. As I said in my original post, the side/parking light switch does pretty much what I want the auto DRL to do.

No- don't change the "shutter sets" - make my suggested changes on Leuchte 8 & Leutche 9 (as I said above)

I done what you said but unfortunately it didn’t work. But then I played around with dimmwert values and reduced them etc and now it works exactly as I wanted! If anyone’s interested in the exact setup I can link a screenshot etc. Thanks for your help.
