I’ve seen somewhere where you can have the AID settings (the bit in the middle of the dials) on the mib, like what happens when you go to view in the MFD) you interested?

I tried this, using your instructions, and it made no difference to the display. The Active Info Display option didn't appear.
One point: my displayed menu has 6 items
Sport
Offroad
Conv. consumers
Driving data
Think Blue. Trainer.
Vehicle status
and there doesn't seem to be enough vertical space to add another item.
My car is a Sep.2019 build 7.5R, with the standard Discover Navigation, not the Pro version.

could it be down to the firmware on the infotainment? i have an august 2017 Golf GTE with AID and 30 colour ambient light mod I can try if youd like?

Yeah I have a 2017 gt but only 10 colours, doesn’t work on that too, but if you wanna try it I can post up coding
