Have been messing around with the different urban joker apps on my golf mk7.5 GTI and I’ve made a bit of a mess of things. I now seem to have the third brake light on whenever I am indicating (whether I’m braking or not).
Is there a way of coding this out or simply resetting everything. Should have made a backup but didn’t.

benallen : Post-up screenshots of Leuchte22BR MA57 and let's see how the 3rd Brake light is actually coded. To be clear - I need to see ALL 19 x adaptation channels in this Leuchte-set (please)

good evening I hope you can read it because I translated it with the google translator
i just had the same problem my 3rd brake light was always on as soon as I blinked
it looked the same for me as it did for you in the pictures
I have set the "Licht Funktion B22" to "nicht aktiv" in the "Leuchte 22BR MA57"
so there where "aktive blinkfunktion hat ein auf 1 gesetztes zugeordnetes bit in pa dynamisch blinken ...
and the problem was solved I hope I could help you

Thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully the screen shots below are what you need. Thanks again for the help benallen: hmm........ not sure where you got those values, but the reason why your 3rd brake-light is behaving badly is because only 50% of the tweak is implemented!!
here's the way that the tweak should be coded:
Leuchte22BR MA57 Lasttyp 22 > 42 - LED dritte Bremsleuchte Lampendefektbitposition 22 > 29 Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 22 > 2C Lichtfunktion A 22 > Bremslicht Lichtfunktion B 22 > Aktive Blinkfunktion hat ein auf 1 gesetztes zugeordnetes Bit in pa_dynamisch_blinken Dimmwert AB 22 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 22 > Always Lichtfunktion C 22 > Blinken links Dunkelphase Lichtfunktion D 22 > Blinken rechts Dunkelphase Dimmwert CD 22 > 0 Dimming Direction CD 22 > minimize Lichtfunktion E 22 > Bremslicht Lichtfunktion F 22 > Rückfahrlicht Dimmwert EF 22 > 127 Dimming Direction EF 22 > maximize Lichtfunktion G 22 > nicht aktiv Lichtfunktion H 22 > nicht aktiv Dimmwert GH 22 > 0 Dimming Direction GH 22 > maximize Dyn. turn signal modes ZV_Blinken_zu > active ZV_Blinken_auf > active Warnblinken_Zuendung_EIN > active Warnblinken_Zuendung_AUS > active

dirkules : hmm........ but with your changes applied to benallen settings - you have simply restored Leuchte22BR MA57 to factory settings (i.e. you have removed the tweak - which was only half implemented) Don

I coded mine with the app, not long coding. Now that the app has been removed, I can't change it back. I don't feel safe overtaking with my third brake light being on... How can I fix this?

ianz :Do you have a PRO account? If so, try this: - Leuchte22BR MA57 - Lichtfunktion B 22 > nicht aktiv

I don't but I can buy it if I have to. hmm........ well without a PRO account, you can't make changes manually- meaning that you are stuck using Apps (which IMHO no-one should EVER use for the very reason that you are asking your question)
So without a PRO account, you need to ask OBD11 support how to fix your problem
