Hello partners.

I have a "problem" that I can't find in adaptation how to solve it.

I have a manual vw golf 7 gti. And when I start the car by stepping on the clutch. At the moment of releasing the clutch. The rear brake is released automatically. I would like to disable this and release it manually. Attached adaptation channel 03. Thank you !!

the funny fact is that with the driver's door open. It does not.

I'm afraid it may be in the coding. but I can't see the meaning of the bits.

The function you're talking about is a part of auto hold. Hope i remembered it right
If you disable auto hold(press the button) your handbrake shouldn't release when stepping of the clutch.

as I say. if I leave the driver's door open. it does it well, it does not come off when you release the clutch. but as soon as I close the door, the floor and release the clutch pedal. it is released ... it makes me think that it is something from module 09.

The problem that I have is that tinkering with the ABS module can have profound consequences - both to the way that the braking system operates in an emergency and to the safety of those traveling in the car under normal circumstances

The other caution that I make about playing with the long-code on this module is that the sole purpose of lots of Bytes in the hex03 module are to validate the setting on other bytes.

So, I provide the data below with NO particular advice as to how you should proceed! My reply is as information only

The software switches that enable Hill-hold are in Byte 25, Bit 0-1 - as you can see, on your hex03 module, these Bits are NOT set - this suggests (to me) that your car doesn't have Hill Hold!!

And, AUTO-Hold is enabled via Byte 23, Bit 0 - on your module this switch IS set - this suggests (to me) that your car has AUTO-Hold. Does the car have the AUTO-Hold button?

There is no problem in modifying disks bytes. Just yesterday I changed the soft version from 0625 to 0627 ... I had to re-encode and make the basic adjustment. I'm not afraid to modify the bytes, don't worry about it.

Yes, the car has an auto-hold button next to the rear brake lock button.

Do you have a table of what each bit of module 03 means? since the long coding does not show any information ...I was only able to change byte 26 myself so that I could disable ESP completely.

No cant help but in my opinion as this is an OBD11 Forum it makes more sense for others who read these threads if the information is provided in a format that they understand.

If you are using VCDS and its a legit copy then it would seem in my view better to raise issues on that forum.

I precisely put a backup with VCDS because it is much more understandable for everyone than the way to generate it OBD11. And DV52 will be with me ... I have original OBD11 and original VCDS. And for some things one is good and for others another. But in this case OBD11 is not very good ...

forgives. Would you have in any document the explanation of the long coding? according to what they informed me. In my long coding PLA 2.0 is activated and it is assumed that I have a PLA 3.0 camera. And also in coding it is possible to disable my handbrake release problem when releasing the clutch.
