I’ve fitted the lane assist to my 2018 golf gte. I have the fitter coming to do the windscreen on Friday so could do with some help with this one. Got 2 faults one of which I guess is the calibration that is getting done with the screen.
I cannot figure out what the second one is?

"missing message" faults are a general error that could be related lots of different causes. If this was my car, I would wait until the calibration procedure is completed and "windscreen" work is finished.
Then clear ALL errors and start with a fresh scan report!

Thank you Don, that was my initial thought but I didn’t want to be messing the fitter about, there are no other faults on the car so I trust your judgment and will report back once fitted.

Camera now in and calibrated no errors on the system apart from module 5f and 17.

It accepted the coding on hex44 but no change across the faults and still lane assist error on dash? For some reason if I go into ACC hex13 and activate the front camera or control module for lane assist it throws a tantrum and turns the ACC off. I do have ACC activated in the front camera hexA5

Hi Don
All sorted now I had someone come on and have a good look through it, whatever he did worked has I now have fully working lane assist with traffic jam assist, light assist and traffic sign assist.
I’ll post up the new scan when I get home.

Every thing works that I can make out and no errors on the dash.
there's a couple of faults on the modules hex03 - hex17 but not sure what they are...I cannot activate the front camera in ACC and also cannot activate ACC Radar Interface by CanBus in the hexA5 although I don't have a problem with either while driving???

I’ve fitted the lane assist to my 2018 golf gte. I have the fitter coming to do the windscreen on Friday so could do with some help with this one. Got 2 faults one of which I guess is the calibration that is getting done with the screen. I cannot figure out what the second one is? Yes you can fit it to your car and there is a fair bit of info on the internet regards activating, the only thing that is a bit of grey area is the coding for the 3Q0 camera?
The windscreen will need changing to suit the new camera. you'll also need to purchase the trim for around the camera and a wiring loom for the lane assist and canbus extension to the ACC
Once all the required loom is fitted and the windscreen is changed you'll need to have the camera calibrated...you'll also need to code the camera, acc and dash
