Hey i'm trying to do the below but am getting stuck With car lifted off the ground Enter Control Module 14- Adaptive Suspension Go to Adaptations Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Take note of the values, as they should change later. Slide the green arrow to the right to write Enter security code 20103. It should say success. - screen just flashes and returns to "enter security code" *Stuck*Don’t change any values, instead back out Enter Basic Settings Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Slide to Start. It should run for a second and then say something like basic setting ended. Am i using the the wrong security code? has it changed between mk7 and mk7.5? does anyone know what it might be? someone leave their car in a garage hooked up to a battery charger for 8 hours to do a security code scren for me or does this procedure just not work on mk7.5's at all? Thanks

Hey
Did you get this fixed?
I hear that you need ignition on, engine off, bonnet up. I'm about to embark on DCC retrofit shortly.
Preferably using ODIS or OBD. VCDS isn't plain sailing with this calibration.
Thanks
James

i did DCC re-calibration successfully on my Superb, with the following steps:-
Go to Control Module 14 - Adaptive Suspension Enter security code 20103.
Go to Adaptations
Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Take note of the values, as they should change later.
Don’t change anything, instead back out.
Enter Basic Settings
Select “Adapting with deflected wheels” Slide to Start or Press & hold Green tick to Start. It should run for a second and then say something like basic setting ended.
That’s it, you’re done. Double check adaptations to make sure the values have changed and saved.

What’s the purpose of recalibration? Is it needed only if DCC is retrofitted, or is it periodically needed on cars with OEM DCC?

It's recommended to do if the car has been lowered with shorter springs.

It's recommended to do if the car has been lowered with shorter springs. Curious how this would have any impact of done on a lift with wheels fully dropped. How would the module know you are lowered? Same droop if lowered or not.

incorrect - when the car is lowered, it has shorter springs, hence the drop is less compared to the factory springs.

I have done it with the ignition on, front hood open without handbrake and in position N of the gearbox, it may be that it should be in P and the handbrake applied

Nothing has been possible, I have put it in P and I have put on the handbrake, with the android tablet with the android mobile and nothing has come up, I enter the security code and it picks up 20103 without problems, I go to Adaptation and Asking me again goes into a loop and there is no way to continue

I have found this other way. Looking at the service manual, it talks about performing a Basic Setting "DCC" is reset when something in the The suspension is changed (ball joint, springs, etc.). The basic configuration screen for the DCC module has three options Adaptation with offset wheels * Reset control module delivery status maker * Restore vehicle specific data Does anyone know what these three options do? And what Does it correspond to performing a dcc reset? The VCDS forums state that you have to lift the car in the air (so that suspension is in full droop), then perform a DCC Reset basic settings. Address 14: Susp. Elect. (J250) Login: 31564, Basic Settings: Channel: 1 On/Off I hope it works

I've done it on my S3 8Y at dealer. It's a day / night difference. I wasn't able to do it with OBD11, but for sure there are 2 steps: 1. car lifted (no wheels touching the floor) first basic setting; 2. car onto the ground, second setting.
hope it helps
