Hey, I've upgraded my lines to steel braided brake lines in my mk7.5r and sebseqently I've had to flush and bleed my brake fluid, unfortunately after 2 rounds of flushing and bleeding with a power bleeder I still have a squishy peddal, I haven't had someone in the car modulating the brakes yet whilst I bleed but I intend to give that a go this weekend an see if it resolves my issue. I couldn't find much information specificly on this procedure with obdeleven but in control modules > brakes > bleed brakes I see the below screen. I'm hoping someone could detail for me how I could use the obdeleven to bleed my brakes, does this flush my ABS? and what is the procedure to following using the above? I've seen a videos/posts with VCDS but nothing regarding how with obdeleven, i'm confused with "bleed rear" being a first option when the workshop manual says to start with the front. I'm exploring all my options before I give up and hand it over to a shop to deal with, but I really want to learn how to do this myself. pls help and save me from my sponge bob brakes. Thanks!

Unfortunately didn't see your earlier post but if I had I would have said to just have someone help you if possible. I also had my lines replaced with stainless steel at a shop and they had someone in the car pumping up the pedal, then bleeding the lines. No OBDeleven or whatever is necessary. I think using a scan tool might help in some unknown way, maybe clearing out the ABS pump or something. But I don't believe it can help actually remove the air from the lines and give you a firm pedal. Did you end up getting it resolved?

Old Skool tip, get the brake pedal pushed down, then go round every bleed nipple and undo just a fraction, make sure no liquid is coming out, then leave car overnight and in the morning you should have a lovely pedal, but like I said make sure NO fluid comes out

i ended up figuring it out, using the power bleeder i just gave it 2 bar instead of 1, did a full flush and ran what i could in obd11 to power the ABS pump to push anything through, got my pedel back, but after a track day i think ABS still introduced air into the lines again and it went soft which kinda helped me cut 2 seconds off a few laps hehe, luckily i had a service coming up so it was manageable until i could get a shop to do a full flush again for me.
prior to this i tried the old fashioned having someone pump the brakes without success, probably did it wrong cause i'm still learning but we mostly got there in the end.
thanks for the tip! will try this next i tackle fluids, but don't intend to for awhile.
