Hi all, first post, apologies for diving straight in with a question. I have tried search but nothing comes up (maybe my search-fu is weak)

I've a 2008 Passat B6 wagon with a BKP 2.0 TDI. Unfortunately mine is a basic spec and I want to fit cruise control. I can work out the long coding for the steering module, but I'm having trouble getting a long coding list for the engine module.

Could anyone point me in the right direction or help me out please? Once I've worked it out I'll happily provide a user guide so that future searchers have something to go on.

Ive answered my own question and I'll leave it here for anyone else in case it's useful. The coding (11463 from memory, but google it and check) is input in 'Coding II' within the engine module.

In my case I was also missing the wire from the steering wheel module to the ECU. Now sorted, but would I want to do it again? No - mainly because VW locked the ECU plugs in with a chastity belt secured by tamper proof bolts. They clearly weren't succesful as I tampered anyway, but what a pain...

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT

whataboutthis: fliew you need to share more info, car year have you coded in obd11 or vcds etc there is no magic button to revert to factory setting you have to undo all your changes manually in Adaptions and Long Coding you can copy/paste if you have backup Nov 21, 2024 16:54:18 GMT
