(Noob here - I have read the other threads pertaining to this issue. I first posted this on another thread on this forum but got no response.)
I just bought a starter pack (device plus 100 credits) to do one thing and one thing only: reset the "service due" message on my 2014 Audi A4. But when I use the service due reset app, I am charged 10 credits, and the iPhone OBDeleven app says that the service due message has been reset. But that is not true. The service due message still comes up on the car's dash. I tried once with key on, engine off, and once more with engine running. Now I'm down 20 credits and still have a "service due" message on the car's dash. When I try to do the it the long way (dashboard 17 etc., etc.) as described in other threads on this forum, OBDeleven says I have to upgrade to pro to do that. I am not talking about the oil service reset, which I know can be done from the car's infotainment center or via a different OBDeleven app. I did not accidentally use the wrong OBDeleven app, the similarly named "reset service interval" app. Anybody know how I can get my fancy new $100 service due reset widget to reset the service due message?

Update: I got it to work. With nothing but crickets from all of you, I went back out and fiddled with the car some more. Alone, lonesome, and desolate. I don't know which, if any, of the following is relevant, but here's what I did. 1. Plugged in OBDelevan, turned on car, opened the OBDeleven iPhone app. 2. On dashboard of the car itself, used the radio screen interface to go: car/service interval display and left that screen open. 3. Made a mental note to myself that the "next oil change" was overdue as expected, since I had not done anything with that interval setting at all. Made a mental note that the "next inspection" miles/days appeared to show a successful reset back when I first tried 10 or 12 days ago! This in spite of the fact that the car continued to flash the "service due" message on the little screen between the dash gauges at engine start and engine stop! 4. I left the car/service interval display screen showing on the radio as I proceeded. 5. I spent 10 credits on the oil service reset app, just to see what would happen. It worked, and the numbers on the radio screen adjusted immediately. 6. I spent 10 credits on the service due reset app, and IT WORKED. The numbers on the radio screen adjusted immediately, and the "service due" message no longer lights when I start or stop the engine.
So, I dunno. Maybe having the car's infotainment screen open to the relevant page mattered?
Anyway, I leave this here for posterity, and sign off, never to return. If none of you (not even OBDeleven staff, who SURELY watch this forum?) will help a noob with a simple question, I can't imagine you'd be of any use with a complicated question down the road. Goodbye forever.

I did reset with VCDS and as well not like in fast service reset option , but by going and reading all data . That helped. Find some friend or guy with VCDS and good cable that can read your car. Older cables can't connect to CAN .
