mystics (Europe) : Are your sure that you need to register the new battery? If you don't have a battery monitor module installed on the negative battery terminal, then your mk7 has a rudimentary Energy Management System (EMS) and no coding changes are needed. Here's a picture of the Battery monitor module:
Ignore the yellow gunk- it's an anti frosting spray that dealers use down here.
If you do have the Battery Monitor module- then go to the Gateway module @ address hex19 - then select adaptation- then enter "Battery" into the search box - then select Battery adaptation - There will be the following 4 x related channels: - Rated battery capacity=44 Ah for your new battery
- Battery technology - this needs to align with the manufacturing type of your new battery (AGM="Fleece")
- Battery manufacturer - this isn't important (leave setting unchanged)
- Battery Serial Number - the actual serial number is not important. What is important is that the existing entry is changed (this tells the module to reset the old battery history data). So, simply change the existing serial number by altering one of the digits.

dv52 (Australia) yes I have a battery controller module, but in my technology WET mode appears. and the new original battery doesn’t show the technology, only that it’s the original VW, and its reference, nor the BEM code has

hmm........... there are many, many, many different batteries available from EXIDE across the world - I have no way of knowing which technology is used on your new battery - I suggest that you speak to the seller of your battery

mystics (Europe) : I really can't help - normally battery makers place labels on their batteries if they have special manufacturing technologies (like AGM, or EFB). If your battery doesn't have such a label, then logic suggests that it uses the basic standard wet cell technology - but this is a logical conclusion rather than a positive identification. I suggest that if you want to know more about your battery - then you do the required research on the web using the information in your pictures Don

Technology: wet. This characteristic corresponds to the OEM reference, 000 915 105 AB; 44 Ah, 360 A, which appears to be that battery.
According to the QR code: Manufacturer = TU3 Serial Number = 04101282XGA
I hope to get it right
