Hi guys!
I need to change the front camera on my 2017 B8, and wondered if this need to be coded? I ordered it from ebay, so i have no clue of what i actually ordered (except its a camera for B8).
Is it someone else here that have replaced this? How is it done? Does i have to remove the front bumper?

Do you mean the camera or the radar system for the ACC?

Thought i wrote which camera it was, but clearly not.. But it is the camera in front for the Area View.

Because you are talking about removing the bumper, but the radarsystem for ACC is behind the VW logo, and the camera's are behind the windshield I think?.

No, camera in the lower front grill. Camera for Area View (360 degree).

Is it just clips, or is it screws also? Do i need to take of the trim around the foglights first?

I replaced my front camera last year. You do not need to remove the bumper because camera can be reached from under the bumper. Anyhow you will need philips screw driver.
After instalation coding is needed because camera needs to be aligned with others on a car.
