Hello everyone!
I recently purchased the touch climatronic panel from the Passat, it's a popular retrofit . The seller claimed to be a plug n' play panel , which, is partially true considering it works great .

Gives an error though, - B108B54 - Fresh air, recirculation, air flow flap motor No basic setting

I tried the flap calibration, didn't make any difference.

This panel has the "Air Care" button which apparently my car doesn't support, if that's of any help.

ilbabis : Hi. I'm just guessing, but the software switches for the air flow flap motor are in long-code on the hex08 module. Specifically, these switches are on Byte 7, Bit 6-7.

So, if you have access to the long-code string from the original hex08 module - check the value of these 2 x Bits and use the same setting on the new hex08 module.

If you don't have this information, perhaps set both switches to zero (i.e. not ticked) - again I'm guessing?

Okay, so what I did was, I got the original string, before I touched anything (found it the module history) , pasted it, and I got the " No basic setting " error.

I then run a calibration and the fault was cleared. So, all and all I guess that was the solution for me.

Don, the 6 and 7 were already 0 , so that wasn't the case.
