Hello everyone. I'm form Germany. So please excuse my poor english skills. My issue with my 1.5 TSI with DSG: Before I managed to perform an ordinary "Basic setting of transmission", I tried out "Reset clutch data". Is it possible that this procedure will run forever? Perhaps the following screenshot from "live data" brings light into the darkness. Directly after the basic setting the "flow index" stated 254. I suppose that this is a good sign. But on the other hand, the "Clutch Default Data Setting Status" noted 253. Propably this means that this procedure is still runnung. But I'm not sure. Does sombody knows more? Now, after the defined test drive, all counters show 0 again, except of "Clutch Default Data Setting Status". If the engine is running and the transmission reached its operating temperature, the measurement block shows 3. I think this indicates running adaptations. Or maybe it's an error code. Please help me. Is there a way to stop all running adaptations?

Certain basic resets demand you run through a preset sequence before the reset takes effect! You then have to END the test before everything returns to normal.

The problem is, that I managed to do a reset with OBDEleven, but have no clue which tests I have to perform to get back to normal! If found out that the accidently started “reset clutch data” procedure is unappropriate for new control units like mine. It's kind of a historic software switch. Do you have any suggestions? The key for a solution imo is to get more informations about the specific adaptation procedure. Links to other software could also be useful, esp. to VCDS and its measurement groups. Addition: I found this list with error codes. So 3 could stand for prerequisites timeout: specific error codes
Possible conclusion: The car waits for some kind of input. Maybe this is part of the defined test drive? Accelerate into second gear an then brake and go into reverse?
