The scan gets mileage right, but the info section is way off. Any reason why, or is it indicating something?

So the first time I hooked this up to my new to me MK1 a few days ago, it displayed the correct mileage (around 165k), and now it shows 10274 Miles. So this is not a Kilometers vs Miles issue as some others have stated on the forums. Not a huge deal but weird that it worked right and then did some funky mileage.
