I have a GTD 2013 showing error in exhaust sound systrm " actuator 1 for engine sound generation" "open circuit" and I have no exhaust sound anymore . Can you please advice where should I start , I dont know wich fuse is for this system in GTD or control module. New part is 700$ and just hopefully there is smthg else wrong in the way and not the speaker itself. Thank you and Regards

The actuator (i.e. the speaker) is called "R257" and it is integrated into the exhaust system- see below. Electrically, it is connected directly to the engine sound generator control unit "J943".
R257 doesn't have a fuse, but J943 is fused. So, unless you have an error message from the CAN bus complaining that it can't communicate with J943, it's unlikely to be a fuse problem
My suggestion is to start by checking the speaker itself (test the coil resistance). If R257 is OK, test and trace the 2 x wires back to the connector on J943

Do you know wich fuse is related to J943 module and where is the module itself located ?

Speaker is gone/defect. It's a known problem.

I agree with @carmaffia- as I said in my first response, it's unlikely to be either J943, or its fuse because your error report says that the fault is in the speaker The fuse for J943 is #48 on the C fuse holder if your car was built before November 2013, and it is fuse #52 if built after this date/
