I have a golf 7 r-line from 2015. A month ago i installed a mib1 discover pro, i had a mib1 discover media before. I don't have a camera in my windshield for traffic sign recognition etc. But in my discover media there always was a sign in the top left corner with maximum speed (via gps i think). Now on the discover pro, it is gone... I did long coding in module 5f, byte 24 bit 6+7 on. But it doesn't appear. Is there anything else i need to do to let it work?

Hey, at least the MIB 2 had two ways of showing trafficsigns. When there is no camera installed, it takes the signs comming from the map. When a camera is installed, the signs are displayed from what the camera got. I also know that the signs would show on different corners of the displays depending on what the source of the sign is. Maybe check if in one of your modules trafficsign assistant / recoginition is activated and deactivate it.

giovanni2903 : I assume that SATNAV is working OK on the car (if not, this is likely your problem).
There are two forms of Traffic Sign functions on the MIB:
FTE and VZA can't be activated together on the MIB because the VZA information is used differently when FTE is active - VZA data (which comes from SATNAV) is integrated with the camera data via the "fusion" mode option on FTE and VZA data is used separately when FTE is not active.
I'm guessing, but it might be that your new MIB has FTE active which explains why Byte 24 software switches were not set.
Check that these channels are set to not active in hex5F module: Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 - traffic_sign_recognition_0x21
- traffic_sign_recognition_0x21_msg_bus
Don
PS: Also try Byte 24, Bit 7 =0 (this switch is not required to be set for VZA to operate)

i tried using the "not available option here (bottom)"
Turn't this option "traffic_sign_recognition_0x21 " > "off"
also turn't off bit 7 in the byte 24 5f module. didn't work..

Did you try resetting the MIB after making the changes? Don

So you say when i do these 3 changes and reset the whole system it will may work? Another weird thing is. When i turn of the car and don't open the door, in the top left corner it shows the street where i am. When starting engine or turn on ignition it disappears
