I have just received my 2021 Passat B8FL (R Line). My previous car was a 2017 Passat B8 (Highline). I used to have personalization option & easy entry function on 2017 B8 but do not have none of them on 2021 R Line. I have done the adaptations given in this thread (https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/2161/enable-personalization) but no success.
Is there anybody who did it with success or have both functions working on his/her car?

I’ve been doing a fair amount of research on this as I expected personalisation to be a standard feature on our MY21 Alltrack, which it is not.
I’ve not seen anybody get this working on post-2020 Passat, but would love to be wrong as I’m currently hating our car with this feature being missing.
There’s either a newer Long Coding or Adaption we’re missing, or we’re stumbling over the different account types or similar.
There’s also the possibility the code in the cars have changed such in preparation for We Connect that what we’re looking for is not possible anymore.
It’s just too hard to tell with having more information.

What I know. is if you have a updated comfort module, then you can do it, and if you have all installed sensors in doors and trunk.
Easy Open and full Kessy, requires that.

Even with those items present I’ve seen no indication that anybody has successfully enabled it.
I’m on multiple VW forums, and this topic always seem to end up in a dead end with no success.

Additionally I have set;
Seat 36 : Func Key Memory Personalization - Personalization Active (I understand this is supposed to be the setting which prompts some of the menu changes.)
Air conditioning 08: Personalization - Activated
Driver Assistance A5: Personalized Key - Version 1.0
All changes reported as being successful, and was done with the engine lid open, just to be sure. No errors were reported. Restarted the car, waiting for all the lights and AID to shut down before the restart. Cleared the errors, and restarted again. Everything looked fine, except it absolutely nothing seems to have changed on the car that I could see.
The keys and menus are behaving the same as before. It’s still got the “seat” menu, and no User menu, and it seems to be behaving exactly as before, like nothing happened. I’ll keep an eye on it over the next couple of days and see if my wife notices anything different as I don’t really drive the car anymore.
What I’d love to figure out is what the PSO_FSG_Setup2 bits are used for. Some cars seems to have the range 1-4 and others 1-8 (Skoda?). Does anyone know what it does?
If anyone got this working, including on something like the new Skoda which still rocks this feature natively in some models, I’d love to know if you’ve done something else which I missed.

I'm starting to suspect this feature is related to a SWaP/FEC not available/activated on the vehicle as I've seen comments about similar behaviour elsewhere when features were dependent on SWaP/FEC licenses being present. I'm however not sure which SWaP/FEC code it could be. Frustrating and irritating.
