Hello,
i cant activate the optical parking system. Whenever i want to activate it through the app it only says "check ignition and try again". Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried it with hood open aswell but that doesnt change anything.

Ok I did some digging and got it to work. The OBD11 app doesn’t do it so you have to use the long coding option. I think Pro may be required.
Go to the Parking Assistance control unit (10), click Long Coding, click on the center icon that looks like 3 people, go to Optical Illustration, click on the radio button to change the option from Not Active to Active (BAP new), I also tried Active (BAP old) and it still worked. I also went into Adaptations and clicked on Visual Display for Park Assist and set the OPS display to on by clicking the radio button.
I’m not actually sure which one worked but after that I am able to see the visual of the car with the red bars when I put in the reverse gear.
