I have purchased points and installed the app for folding mirror, and it did not work. Posted question and contacted the us distributor to no avail. There is no support for this product.

Yes, the motor in there and I have actually tested them. The do fold if they are booked up directly to power.

^^^^^^ hmm........... save your pennies (and credits) - do the tweak properly manually like this: First check that the two front door modules are coded correctly Then make the necessary changes to the adaptation channels in the Central electrics module Don

^^^^^^^^^^ hmm.......... bit difficult to provide further suggestion with such a paucity of information!! Does the car have any error messages? Have you checked the history file? What type of mk7 do you have? What type of folding mirrors did you install? What version door control modules are installed in your car? Do the door control modules support folding mirrors? What other data do you think might be helpful to aid in the provision of suggestions by a forum colleague?
Don
PS: the other clue might be to leave the swich in the R position (not the folded position)

Hi I have just obtained obdeleven and checked mirror folding function and all is already set as Don has shown but mirrors don't unfold upon unlocking...what is missing?
I have mk7 golf GTI year 2013 UK with folding mirrors fitted as standard.

I wanted to see if anyone could help me out with an issue I have coding my auto folding mirrors. I was able to code the passenger and drive menus but when when I go to Central Electronics, Adaptation, I don't have Access Control 2. I don't have Access Control either.
This is on a 2017 GTI SE so I was wondering if there was something I missed or if it's in a different menu?
Thanks

Yes, I looked. Those options are not in infotainment. Most of the posts say you have to enable the option on the coding to see those in the Mirrors and Wipers in the infotainment.
Like I said, I do not have Access Control 2 inside Adaptation. Does anyone know why I wouldn't see the Access Control menu?

drummer: Yep - if you have a newer style BCM (what OBD11 calls "central electric module" @ address hex09), you won't find Access Control 2 . Instead - search for Spiegelverstellung - then follow the rest of the instructions.

I was able to find the ZV Komfort one for the window opening/closing with the FOB. Has anyone put up a list of the menu differences from the old to newer style BCM?

Along with the folding mirrors, I have coding for the "Auto Lock Doors on Driver's Close" so while the mirrors fold in either by locking the car using the fob, or touching the door handle, they won't lock when I simply close the door. Curious if anyone else is in this situation or know a way to code this in?
Thanks.

bringing this post back to life.....
I am looking to do something similar to what the OP wants.
I retrofitted the folding mirrors to my CS, programmed the new DCMs and all works as it should. I then used the app to do the opening and closing of windows from the keyfob (lost it with the new DCMs) and some other bits and bobs when changing DCMs.
When I open the doors the mirrors unfold as it should (if it was folded) When the mirrors control is in the "L" position and I close the door, the car locks and arms and the mirrors remain in the unfolded position, I can then press lock button on the keyfob and the mirrors fold in.
Now the question...
I got Kessy, and when I close the drivers door and the car detects the key outside the car, the car auto locks. when I do this I also would like the mirrors to fold.... is this possible??

^^^hooper: Hi. Assuming the wiring is OK - the software switch for the puddle lights is in long-code in the respective door modules.
If you are using the text part of long-code, OBD11 calls this switch Door exit light - if you are using the tick-box part of long-code, it's Byte 1, Bit 2

Hi, I recently installed power folding mirrors on my GTI 2017 S trim (bought from shopDAP and installed by local body shop) and used the one click function in OBD11 Next Gen for auto folding mirrors. However, the mirrors do not fold and the puddle lights do not turn on. I have enabled the function in the “Mirrors and Wipers” section of the car. Still not working.
FYI, the blinker lights come on correctly and I am able to electronically adjust the mirrors which seems to indicate it was installed correctly.
Can someone please help me troubleshoot?

Does anyone have an idea where the problem could be that the mirrors don't close with Keyle's automatic close? because normally closing the mirrors do go in!
