I recently purchased a mk7 Golf R and I was fiddling around with the obdeleven apps and after I changed the lock with ignition on my passenger side door ambient light strip stopped working and I received a fault code for it. B132513 and says ambient light illumination lamp open circuit. Thank you in advance.

It’s oem and was never unplugged, was working fine.

Check your passenger door coding, passenger door> long coding> ambient light: active
But I think it may be a physical fault as it says it’s open circuit

I checked that and it says active, the code is an intermittent code on the app. Also noticed the footwell light is out on that side. Is it possible that the light burnt out in the footwell and is causing the open circuit?

Yes, that’s always possible, but the door is LEDs
