Hello to all. i would like to know if there is a function in obdeleven to adjust pxc LED headlights as factory. The problem is that I had to change the headlights under warranty due to an internal humidity problem and the new headlights were not adjusted like the ones I changed. Is there a function in the control unit that moves and positions the headlights as in the factory without acting on the screws on the headlight?

@lus084: hmm........ simply referring to "pxc LED headlights" doesn't mean that everyone reading your post is familiar with how your car is equipped with control modules - it varies with models and it's different across cars in various countries.
Anyhow - assuming that your car has a hex55 module - try this (it's a 2-part procedure):
Important: Make sure the car is fully settled on its suspension and that the vehicle is on level ground
Procedure 1
- Select hex 55 - Xenon Range module
- Select Basic Settings
- Select Basic headlamp setting and start the procedure
- This is where you would adjust the headlights using their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target - but in your case go to the next step
- Wait a period of time (suggest 10 seconds)- then stop the procedure
Procedure 2 (still in Basic Settings)
- Select Acknowledge basic setting and start the procedure
- The reference settings from Procedure 1 above should now be "recorded" in the module
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
- Back-out of the module, clear any error codes and exit OBD11 software (don't forget to disconnect the OBD11 dongle)

dv52 (Australia)... thanks. Sorry pxc are a full led with DLA in Golf 7.5. I have module 4B and there is this function but I don't know if this procedure put my headlight in factory position or it is just for setting a new zero point. Because now I have a wrong position (in orizontal) and I want put a original position. I am from Italy

Does this procedure automatically adjust the width and height of the headlights, bringing the light beam as factory-set without touching the screws?

Hi.
Use the adaptaciones for level ground to Zero position.
Use the screw in the lights for calíbrate the lights. Use a line in a front wall for reference.

dv52 (Australia) Is there a way to adjust only the high beams? My low beams seems perfect but the high beams are little bit too low. Thank you!!

lg: Alas the answer is NO. The procedures that I describe above establish level ground for the car. The headlight fittings use this setting as a reference point for aiming dipped/low beam. The amount that the light-pattern rises for high-beam is determined by the headlight fitting itself - it's not something that can be accessed via the CAN network (AFAIK) Don

Actually basic setting just says: When the height/load sensors are in this momentary position, the headlight has been levelled using the screws to the default height.
There is no process which overrides the manual setup using external equipment and the levelling screws.
So far, only Porsche cars (and maybe the Touareg) are able to calibrate the lights on their own. Even they need a good basic setting to operate from that baseline
