Hello everyone new here,have a 2019 Tiguan canadian edition with led taillights.I recently purchased this vehicle and have added a tow bar and a tekonsha t connector wiring harness to tow a small utility trailer for snow blower and lawn tractor between my properties.All trailer lighting works fine when hooked to my 2 other vehicles but when hooked to Tiguan the trailer park lights ,signal lights and brake all work as supposed to but when park lights are on and then turn on signals the signal works fine but as soon as light signals and shuts off the light on opposite flickers like a signal but duller.
Previous owner changed some coding for rear lights but said he changed back but i am not so sure.Wondering if anyone could help with stock settings so i could be sure or some ideas on where to look.

Hi there!
I have a 2020 Highline which I’m pretty sure would have the same light coding as your 2019, if you have the LED lights.
If so, I’m happy to help... let me know what you need, drop me a PM and I’ll send you what I can.
Not sure that would have anything to do with the trailer light issues you describe though. What you describe sounds like an issue with your Tekonsha trailer module possibly not being compatible with the LED lights or a defective Tekonsha module itself.

Looking for stock coding for rear taillights leuchte 20BR LA 71,leuchte 21BR RC,leuchte 23SL HLC10,leuchte 24SL HRA65 in central electronics 09.This is correct part number and second Tekonsha t connector as they sent a second after talking with there tech guy just to try ,he figures some where coding has been changed.

I was thinking that with the 1 you could find a common difference and not need all of them.

If you do a backup of control unit 09 you can share that in one go rather than taking lots of pictures.

so sorry for delay ,just getting time to look at this .I compared my current coding to yours all is identical except lichtfunktion c 23 and lichtfunktion c24 ,mine are set to night aktiv and yours are set to blinken links dunklephase.Have not changed yet but hoping to in next little while.Could this be my problem ?
