Hi. I carried out a Calibration of Synchro points. Gearbox was at approximately 80*c parking brake on foot on brake. App said done. Tried to put car I gear nothing happens. Restart the car an get a gearbox fail driving is prohibited message. Used OBDeleven to check code and it says “basic settings not completed”. The gearbox seems fine it drives but every time I start the car I get the same error cod. I’ve tried to reset the Synchro points 10 times now an still the same.
Thankfull for any idea

Update!
So i tried a couple of more time’s with no luck.
Seams like the app does not work at least not fore my car.
The problem is that when the application is done there is no data saved on the eppron (flash) so when I restart the engine the computer can not find any basic settings for the gearbox.
I solved this by doing the basic setting from the transmission menu instead.
Note! When I did this the gearbox motions where a lot more obvious and also sounds where louder and the process took a bit longer.
It felt more like people have described it to bee.
Hopefully this helps others from a hole lot of worries.
As this weekend has not been the most relaxing;-)

I found out how to Do It and man thank you so much. I bought this car 3 weeks ago (b8 2018) and im already tinkering with it and thought i oopsed it up. You are a life saver because The wife would kill me IF she found out. Th
