I’m going to change the battery in my Octavia 3 1,4 TSi from 2014 with start/stop function and Battery Management. I plan to replace the battery to the same type (EFM) and Ah as the current but it will be an other brand. Do I need to change the settings or can I just replace it 1:1 without coding??

I don’t know for sure for your specific vehicle, but for VW, you should update at least the recorded serial number of the battery using OBDeleven. The number I think does not matter, but changing it causes the charging system to “re-learn” the battery as a new battery and adjust its charging cycle parameters accordingly.
Even if the identical battery, the charging strategy changes as the battery ages, so updating the serial number will reset that system to assume a “new” battery.
