I was messing around with the settings and added things that don't exist on my car. How can I reset to default parameters?

When you say added things that dont exist do you mean control units or by using Adaptions / Long coding if control units and android have a read of this cupra280.co.uk/obd11.html#Autocode and turn it on if adaptions / long coding the use your history and reverse |

So of I added or removed items the software will automatically bring them back or remove items that done exits ??
Also I have 3 gateway faults yet everything seems to be working ??

if the autocode gateway is turned on it will remove CU you added that are not there and add back in CU you removed in error.
hopefully that will also clear your gateway errors after you scan again

if you are using Android then gateway can be found under settings.
Top section (home screen)
Autocode gateway list should be set to SHOW.
If you have IOS Then you dont have this feature.
So go to your history file, Filter selecting only GATEWAY CODING, this should show you all the stuff you have added / removed.
If you are unsure then just post up a copy.

maluk We need a bit more information I am afraid. What year car do you have, How did you turn off stop start in the first place (app / coding/ memory switch) On the assumption that you need to have your bonnet open to make changes have you done it that way. Post up a copy of your history file and hopefully somebody can see what you need to do.

Hi. Just read your post and would like to query where you say you need your bonnet open to make changes. Does this apply to making ANY changes? It’s just I’ve tried to enable lock chirp but it hasn’t worked. I didn’t have my bonnet open.

If your car was built late 2020 then you will need bonnet open to do any coding.
