Hi Everyone,
I'm starting to go round in circles with the official email support so I thought I would throw my problem out to a wider audience - hopefully someone will be able to help - but it does seem a bit quiet in this subforum.
I have a basic version of the OBDeleven app and purchased enough credits to apply a selection of predefined 'apps' to my 2013 7N Sharan.
The issue I am facing is that after applying 8 'apps' consecutively and relatively quickly one after another, the 'Safelock' deadbolt function of the vehicle no longer functions. For those of you unfamiliar with 'Safelock' it effectively deadbolts the vehicles doors so that they cannot be opened from the inside - making it harder for someone to gain access to the interior of the vehicle.
I can tell that the functionality is disabled as the touch sensor on both the drivers and passengers door handles now no longer lock the vehicle - it used to be that one touch of the sensor would lock with 'Safelock' and two rapid touches to lock without 'Safelock' (in case there is someone remaining in the vehicle who would need to get out in an emergency).
So, what I am hoping someone can help me with is to identify which of the ODBEleven 'off the shelf' predefined apps overwrote the 'Safelock' functionality and how I can go about re-enabling it.
Below is the export from the OBDeleven android app that details the 'off the shelf' predefined apps that I purchased and applied and the times and sequence that they were deployed (expand to view).
Email support seem to be unfamiliar with how the 'off the shelf' predefined 'apps' write to the application log - as I was asked about the long coding entries - As you can see the long coding appears directly after an 'off the shelf' predefined 'app' is deployed - literally within the same minute so I am assuming that with some 'off the shelf' predefined 'apps' the long coding is recorded by default into the log?
Anyway - any help or insight would be greatly appreciated - I also imagine it would be useful for the ODBEleven team as they could put a warning on whichever app overwrote the setting so that future customers could make an informed decision on whether they want to lose the Safelock functionality or not.
Cheers
