Hi, I found in history a long coding between activating the dynamic led(working) and vehicle path display(not working) which I did't do. Does anyone know what does that means? I have a3 8v 2015, 2.0 tdi. Thank you in advance.

tihi: Hi. The long-code change on the hex5F module altered Byte 18, Bit 1. This is the software switch for the start-up screen on the MMI. If you didn't make the change manually, I suspect the long-code entry is the result of an APP Don

Hi Don, thank you. This is the history of all my changes (same day) and in order were thus made: 1. App: Second phone support 2. App: MIB startup logo (RS3)3. App: DRL settings in head unit (ON) 4. App: Dynamic LED turn signal (EU ON) 5. App: Vehicle Path Display (ON) - this does not work So I changed the logo but only via the app, not manually. And manual entry appeared between number 4. Dynamic LED turn signal and 5. Vehicle Path Display. What could be result of manual entry? I would not dare do anything manually. Thank you. Best regards, tihi

Yes this is a know feature of OBD11 Currently and is on the list to be fixed (hopefully soon).
If you use an APP and that APP makes long code changes you will see in your history the App being used and then shortly after (no idea why the time lag) you get a posting in your history for Long Coding change as well.
Nothing to worry about just a current Feature of the OBD11 History file.
