I'm trying to retrofit a Chinese CarPlay unit to a 2014 A3 that has an AMI input. Apparently it needs an AUX input to work, but the car has AMI. An AMI to AUX cable was supplied but doesn't work, and I'm being sent a new one by slow boat form China. I was reading that its possible to enable AUX by coding together round this issue, but cannot find reliable info on the coding required. Does anyone know the coding?
