Hi - New on here. I tried to search this and couldn’t find anything for my specific vehicle, so sorry it it’s been covered.
I have a 2021 GTI SE DSG, US spec. I bought OBDELEVEN (for iPhone 11) specifically for Soundaktor as I hate the idea of fake engine noise. I tried using the app and setting it to zero and it keeps giving me a “check ignition and try again” message. I’ve tried it with the engine on, engine off and in accessory mode and it does the same thing. I even tried clearing all the faults and same thing. I tried setting it to 10% and same thing.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried with bonnet open, not sure if that feature has reached the US yet but worth a try.

Just tried it again with the hood up and now it doesn’t let me get to the “change value” screen. It says unsupported. From everything I’ve read about the 2018-2020 models this should be an easy change. Did something happen with the 2021 model?
This is super disappointing- it was one of the main reasons I bought the OBD11, and from everything I read it was a supported app for the vehicle.

Not my car so all guess work.
Could you just confirm if you are using Android or IOS (If so have you upgraded to the latest version 1.4.10)
Simple stuff to confirm, you mobile device has good internet connection and location is turned on (if its not this can cause issues)
Have you tried clearing the obd11 app cache again this can cause issues
Lastly when you look at control unit A9 What color is it showing, is it green, yellow, red or black

I have a 2021 SE as well and MOST apps came up as unsupported when I got OBD11 last month, I recently retried this weekend and could finally make some changes but not common stuff such as urban joke. Changes I did make Saturday I now cannot undo as they said today "unsupported". My wife has a 2019 Jetta GLI and we tried it on her's Saturday as well and most everything was unsupported???

Firstly VW Have (no idea why) now make you open the bonet (hood in US) and have the parking break on before any coding is allowed. Try that fist and see if that helps.

You sir are a genius! That fixed my issue with ACC after changing the "Increased Engine Response" to Audi, it would not change back till I read the above.
