I purchased OBD Eleven for the ability to code the battery to our 2011 Audi Q7. I even asked the manufacturer if I was able to do it with this product. When I input the battery part number, manufacturer and serial number then long press the check or enter button, the program says it was successful but never actually changes the battery info. I searched for answers and didn't find anything definitive. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I dont know why it is not taking the new code if no error, but I saw the following on this forum, and it is how I updated my battery coding when I replaced:Although you basically just have to change the last digit of the previous battery serial number. The car only needs to know that the battery has been changed, it has no real need of knowing which specific battery has been fitted, provided it is exact manufacturers spec.

Where do you go to access the battery serial number? I was told Gateway>Adaption>Battery Adaption but I do not have those options when I go to Gateway.

Hi - I can’t find where to change the BEM code for my 2007 Q7.. Would appreciate any advice on steps to reach the point of putting in the new code. Thanks!

Select Gatewalong adaptation Channel: 04
BTW, It would not save the battery data until I ran a scan and cleared existing fault codes.
