Description:
- Activate the recognition of Audi Q5 FY traffic signs by camera
Function:
- After activation, the respective active traffic sign (speed, no overtaking, speed versus time or speed versus rain or trailer-related cancellation signs and signs) is displayed in the color FIS or in the virtual cockpit via the integrated front field camera (STGA5 available ex works on all Audi Q5 FY models) shown. You are therefore safe from speed cameras because you are always aware of the last traffic sign filmed. In addition, you can set a warning threshold depending on traffic signs in the MMI, which also indicates if you exceed the applicable speed (a range of values from 0 to 15 km / h can be set).

Vehicle function list
Select BAP-traffic_sign_recognition_0x21 -> adjust value to active
Select vehicle menu Operation-menu_display_road_sign_identification -> adjust value to activated
Select vehicle menu operation-menu_display_road_sign_identification_over_threshold_high -> adjust value to activated.
STG long coding
Note: In MY2016, the traffic sign display in the navigation system must be switched off. Otherwise the "traffic sign-based" submenu will not appear in the MMI speed warning menu. Deactivate byte 24 -> bit 6
STG A5 (front / front camera) [edit]
STG access authorization
Enter activation code 20103
STG long coding
Activate byte 1 -> bit 0
Note: For newer cameras this applies instead: Byte 16 -> Bit 4 (with the current VCDS, the bit is labeled)
STG adaptation
Select channel characters Show end of speed limit -> set value to active (not applicable depending on camera type)
Channel select Show valid additional characters -> adjust value accordingly (not applicable depending on camera type)
STG 17 (dash panel insert) [edit]
STG long coding
Activate byte 5 -> bit 2
Note: with newer model years, byte 14 bit 6 may also be required in the speedometer!

The program exists since April 01 but on my Q5 (2018 S-Line) it does not work. However, I do have the front camera with the "PRE-SENS" system and the "Line assist".

Ok I did check again, and in fact, I do have a TSR menu in the MMI too, into which I can select Speed limit deviance from 0 to 15kms. And also set specific settings when in trailing mode. However the TSR still does not operate  What I read in multiple forums is the following: the TSR process for MQB platforms (Tiguan, Kodiak, Golf, etc) is not applicable to MLB platforms (A6, A5, Q5FY, Q7) @obdeleven DEV team: please help us fixing this  Thx in advance |

345 euros because they know they need... 10 minutes to "flash" your A5 camera module with VCDS.
It is rip-off, but I think no choice...

I have TSR working in my A4 B9,
But it only reads the traffic signs with red circle nothing else ..
I also don't have "Show valid additional characters" adaptation in my A5 unit..
Can this be enabled or unmasked so that i can select it and try if it read other signs too.
