Good morning from Athens,
I have a polo 2019 with infotainment 17A 035 869.as from the vw service told me that it is not possible to activate CarPlay,is it possible via obdeleven?

Hi, I did it on mine and it works Great but I didn't do it by obd. As I did it remotely, It was needed to be done by implant à new firmware updated with the car's identifications. I did it with an SD card as the firmware could make around 8gb.

Hello, I have a 2018 polo and I have unit 3Q0035819C. There is no App-Connect button on the media screen of my vehicle. When I did research, I found that this unit does not support CarPlay and AndroidAuto. Then with OBDeleven 5F Multimedia -> Adaptation -> Vehicle Configuration: Google GAL: Active Apple DIO: Active MirrorLink Active Smartphone interface for Rhmi: Activated Multimedia -> Long Coding -> Byte 19 USB: Selected as “ Usb ipod ” When I do the above and look at my media screen again, the App-Connect button is there but when I click on it, it says “Starting App-Connect... “ and does not continue. I don't understand this situation  And if I really have CarPlay and AndroidAuto, can you help me how to make them work? |
