Hello All,

I read somewhere in one of the threads (sorry can't find where) that there is a way to make your red LED door lights blink from red to white while using the turn signal. I tried to activate this 1/2 a dozen times but no luck.
Has anyone gotten this to work?

Found this is the Seat forum, not sure if it works on the Golf tho.

Ambient door light with flashing and color change

With this mod, bringing the doors in red, when flashing, the door on the side of the indicator flashes between red and white.

golfmania: very true - these Leuchte-sets are specifically about the left (Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9) and right (Leuchte17TFL R BLK BLK SRB3TFL R SR KC3 ) side rear turn signal - so not related the LED light pipes on the door FOR A GOLF MK7

However, these two Leuchte-sets do alter the door lighting on a MK3 Leon 5F - because the pin-out for the BCM is different

On a mk7 Golf, there isn't a specific Leuchte-set for the door LEDs, but the Leutche-set for the footwell lighting is Leuchte30FR LC72 . If the particular version of your golf has multi-coloured LEDs for this activity, it could be interesting to apply different Ambientelicht settings to this Leuchte-set (I can't do this because my footwell lighting doesn't have mulit colour LEDs)

So it's not possible to change the brightness of the LED stripes in the doors?; - I'm not saying this. OP's original request was to change the blinking colour from Red-to-white, not to dim the LEDs. On my mk7, dimming of the door-strip lighting is done via the MENU as follows:

Close all doors, turn-on the ignition and switch-on the front lights (doesn't matter whether it's headlights, or just parking lights) 
Press the CAR button
Select setup on the bottom RHS of the screen
Select Lighting
Select Door Strip lighting and move the virtual slider to the desired position
Exit all screens

Is it possible to change the brightness of the LEDs in the handles in the door? Not sure

Or the LEDs in the centre console? Some can be changed-for example the LED brightness for the current fan speed can be altered as follows:

Select the Air Conditioning Module @ address hex08
Find "Dimming Characteristics_3 Y"
Adjust ALL the values to suit your preference -but you must rebuild the entire dimming characteristic curve

I do not know that any golf mk7 come with multi color footwell lights. There is a way to set brightness on led door stripes its in car menü on mib,somewhere, called ambientebeleuchtung or Innenlicht (only know german name) there you ca set it from 0 to 100% . For coding it brighter i dont know.

clrdalane: Hi. As a couple of us have indicated a few posts back, these 2 x Leuchte - sets are related to the rear inside indicators on the tails. Are you saying that on your mk7 they are connected to the door LEDs?

Also - it's not surprising that the lamps (which ever they are) flash in both directions - the instruction include both left and right turn signal commands in each Leuchte-set, so naturally they will flash in both directions ( which ever they are)?

Hello, did anyone found a way to make this work? Leuchte16 and 17 do not work. It isn’t assigned to any type of light. VW T-Roc. It doesn’t have multi Colored led strip but a standard Red (and supposedly a white color?). Just to test out, I tried to link the footwell lights LeuchteXX to blink simultaneously with the blinkers and that works. VW T-Roc 2019.
