Hi I have a 2018 golf r and I’m in Australia ( if that changes model or anything somehow). Currently having this issue which won’t allow me to use cruise control. Cycling through the dash to driving assistance it says “ACC deactivated” . The button that switches between kms and the cruise control speed doesn’t do anything now. It says it’s activated in the head unit so I know I must’ve done something through the OBDeleven but I can’t seem to find what. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Pretty sure you can turn it on and off by the left buttons on the steering wheel

Buttons on steering wheel aren’t changing anything tried that multiple times. I’m also unsure how to check the history of what I did because I’m not sure what category I did the changes in. I thought it would be under driver assistance or maybe ACC but can’t find anything?

Thanks for your help. I found the history and still can’t see anything that would’ve disabled ‘Assist Systems’ and given me ACC deactivated.

jmgolfr: thanks for the History records. I must say that I find OBD11's version of the scan reports to be next-to-useless because the records don't show the actual long-code value on each module. Makes diagnosis far more difficult - VCDS does a much better job IMHO.
Anyhow, I'm concerned about the "incorrectly coded" error on the Dashboard module (hex17). The fault is present though-out each scan. Is the data that you posted complete? If so, I suggest that you revert-back ALL the changes that you made on this module. Then clear ALL the faults and re-scan the car.

I believe that fault came up after I did the drl lights where my tail lights are always active? B114413 This is the fault code I’m now receiving and I believe it’s what’s causing my acc deactivated message but I can’t find how to resolve it.
