On my RS3, I was able to code an added menu item to have early intervention with lane assist.
Can't find a way to do it on this car, and find the late intervention isn't too effective. Anyone have an idea how to add the. early intervention?

Check in the A5 module, adaptations: Lane Assistant moment of intervention. Mine is set to "select via menu, default early". I don't have ACC, and the menu doesn't appear anywhere, so it always default to early.

Found it now, changed it, but can't find a menu in the car to adjust it. Where should it be on the MMI?

Did you read Matts post above yours closely. The answer is there I think.

I read it as his car not having the menu, not all of them.
Anyway, set it to early, didn't seem to make a change with regard to behavior.

Try heading control config in module 09 (long coding), and Heading control assistant in module 44 (long coding)

Does this "early" setting work on vehicles with active lane assist or also on vehicles with lane departure warning (which is standard on all Audi vehicles)? I have etron, and lane departure warning keeps vehicle in the lane by turning the steeering wheel. But of course it bounces from left to right. I found setting for intervention to be on "select via menu, default late", and do not have the menu in MMI but i do have switch on steering wheel stalk to enable or disable lane departure warning. I could probably try to adapt "select via menu, default late" to "select via menu, default early" with obd11.

It works with A5 Driver Assistance->adaptions -> lane assist moment of intervation -> select via menu, default early
I like it so much it keeps car in middle of lane very precisely...

It does not work on my etron. Car still pingpongs between the lanes. Do you have ACC? Or lane departure warning only?

Not sure what do you mean by ACC, I have 3.0 premium plus with Driver Assistance package basically in front grill you will have those two big square radar sensors, features like stop n go...kind of semi autonomous drive you just keep adding counter torque on steering whenever warning pops up...😉
