I have issues with intermittent Dab reception.

Two codes have come up from my scan.

1; B127013 - Antenna amplifier 1 for digital radio Open circuit
static.

2; B127413 - Connec from antenna amplifier 1 f digital radio and antenna Open circuit

static.

I looked at the VW repair manual for the mk7 and various antenna and filter seem to be fitted around the rear tailgate.

Using the OBDeleven app is there anyway to look deeper and find the actual component, idealy by part number that is causing the issue?

I have seen a similar diagram in the mk7 repair manual.

I am still a relative novice using my obdeleven tool, I wondered from my question if the tool has tha capability to dig deeper, once you have found the problem area?

Is there any way to be sure the dab amp is at fault or it's perhapos an inline filter?

I would have to order individual parts and this could take time and money, I can hear and see the dab radio is not working without using my fine obdeleven,

I had the same issue pretty much, only one error code, can’t remember which one I think the first one in your list.

it didn’t bother me but it has completely gone since I change the battery, never got back.

The old battery was fine, just upgraded to an AGM.

I have already changed the battery for a Yuasa AGM a few months ago, before getting the fault code.

The strange thing is, if I scan I get this code, but on a day to day basis, the Dab radio works fine without issue.

Other than thisrecurring code, obviously.
