Against my better judgement I used the OBD app 'Intersection light with route data' on my 2019 Mk7.5 Golf R.
I immediately got a dashboard message 'Error: dynamic light cornering' which has remained despite using the app to switch intersection lights off.
When I do a scan I get a fault in 4B Multifunction Module: Headlight - no basic setting.
Can anyone help clear the fault and restore the system?
Thanks.

Basic settings are lost when anything in the coding of 4B (or 55) is changed
As always: Drive to a level surface Unload all stuff from trunk and so on (we are levelling the automatic headlight regulation)
Go to 4B -> Basic Settings: Enter Baisc headlamp settings, start it Go back to Aknowledge basic setting, start it -> Done

Top man Newty, thanks for the advice. How do you learn these details? Is there a manual OBD somewhere?

Sadly, there is no manual. There are some coding instructions/manuals, mostly in German (try djduese for reference).
In finding things out, speaking German helps a lot to imagine what the engineers might have thought when writing the descriptions After all, it is all try and error.
