Hi, i have new Gen OBD11 pro.
Had success with long coding, and finding my way around fixing faults.
Having looked on forum, my question has been asked before by others, but received no response / help. That is, I cant find anywhere within the engine module live data, a misfire counter or to display live data in graph form.
I've watched videos of others doing these two functions, but my live data options don't display in the same way. For example, I don't get the opportunity to select several data pids via check boxes, for comparison with each other. I can only select one at a time, and as i say no option for misfire count.
Also I don't see the zig zag icon that allows the opening of graph display.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction
Thanks, Ralph
P.s. I have a UK registered 2007 Golf plus 1.9 Tdi. 77kw BXE engine.

If you want to see live data in a graph you need to use the charts function.

Live data on these older cars has labels for channels but they are created by users so its possible they are there but nobody has created a label.
I dont have access to your car but it certainly looks like on the older KWP Protocol cars you only get to pick one item and there are then 4 underlying data points you can see but unlike the newer cars it does not look like you can select multiple live data points.
Have a chat with support on in app help function they will be able to confirm.

Thanks for both your inputs. Very clear on the graph thing - I have seen charts option so will check it out.
Re the misfire counter, could it be that as i have no engine faults or misfires, that the 4 underlying data points you mention, don't contain data?
Ok, off for chat with support re finding misfire counter. I'll post some feedback on how i get on. Thanks again.

FEEDBACK. Hi, Had a good play around with the graphs function. was pleasantly surprised with how good it is given price of unit. Misfire counter. Emailed help from within engine control unit, but they really couldn't help me. (see response below). Hello,
thank you for contacting us. If your vehicle does allow the function and you have the instructions on how to perform it, so you should be able to do it. Sorry, but we do not have the instructions for this function. For more information, you can search on our forum:
Maybe logging or counting of misfires isnt something my ECU is programmed for?? Maybe I need misfires for them to be detected. I dont know. Anyway, I still think the OBDeleven is pretty good given its price, and don't regret buying it. Truth is it's already paid for itself
