Hi 2018 T6 I have the latest OBDeleven Pro . on iOS14. When I try to use 09 central electrics/Adaptations , there are no adaptations listed. Just a page asking for a channel between 0-255
All the other control units /Adaptations have got lists. Can anyone help with this please. Regards

Hi testeronline I have had no reply from tech support. I also have to put in the VIN number every time I use the device, & although tech have tried to sort that, they ain’t succeeded. Would I be better getting a cheap Android Tablet? Regards

elduderino, I am afraid there is a large backlog of things to be fixed along with major projects (SFD and BMW) so I am afraid i would not expect any quick turnaround to this issue. For ease of use I am afraid the answer is yes you are better off getting a cheap Android or Huawei device, just make sure the Android version is above 5 and preferably above 9. With regards to the Vin that is strange. Firstly there was a new IOS Release yesterday I would try that. Secondly I would remove and re-install OBD11 if above does not work and maybe try creating a brand new account (just for testing) and see if it picks up the vehicle and saves the details correctly.

Hi testeronline
You clever boy(or girl). Just updated the app , & it hasn’t asked for the VIN. Think I will still get the tablet, if it suits.
Regards

Tablet looks good to me.
Its got Bluetooth, WIFI and being a new one I would expect a higher version of andoid.
The only possible issue is it appears to only work on WIFI so if you are not near you home wifi make sure you IOS phone can create a hotspot to share you mobile connection.

elduderino sorry been out on the road for the day. What version of Android is it running. Have you got the tablet talking to your home wifi so you have internet connection and do you have location set on your tablet
Is your dongle the white one (so you should pair it or black one (it does not need to be paired)

Hi testeronline It’s Android 9. The Bluetooth is 4.2. The dongle is the Black one. Thanks for mentioning the tablets location settings, they were set to deny. I have corrected it. I have been using my iPhones hotspot for the wi-fi internet, but I will get the Van nearer the house , & try the house router. It’s 6.08am at present, so will try later, & report back. Regards

Yr done it again testeronline . It was the location settings. Well done. Works the same as the iPhone, but still no Adaptions list in Central electrics. So it must be a T6 thing. Regards
Ps, pleased with the tablet though. Lol
