I will explain my problem. Hopefully someone knows the answer or can help me.
I have an account with my personal email id. I will call is Account# 1. I have 46 credits in that account.
After I received my Next Gen Pro, while connecting it to the iOS app, I chose Apple Login, which created a new account. I will call it Account# 2.
My problem is that I now have two separate accounts. My Pro license is tied to #2. #1 account don't show a Pro license. I have tried changing the email address on #2 to the email address of #1 but that didn't work.
Is it possible to merge the two account?

patnawala afraid i don't think that is possible. You could try asking support via in app help function but they don't work weekends. when you say you changed email address and it did not work do you mean it did not accept the change or that it did not merge account

Thanks for your reply. I have sent them a message. I will update the thread if and when I hear from them. So, basically, I have two accounts. Account #2 has the Pro license. Do you know, if it would be possible to transfer the license From #2 to #1, which will resolve my problem. I will have everything in one place under 1 email.
Whats ironic is that even my Apple ID also used the same email address but just because I chose Apple ID and chose not to share my email address, OBDeleven doesn't know that email. Apple masks the email and provides the vendor with a "relay" email address.
To answer you question about email address change...yes and yes for both. The email didn't change. I got an error and obviously the accounts didn't merge.
OBDeleven should really simplify and streamline these things. In fact that should just allow you to register you device Mac address to you account, which will take care of all the problems. You can have 10 accounts but if all the devices in those accounts have the same MAC address then it's basically the same device and even the same person!
Thanks again for your response.

Fingers crossed, I am not aware of a way to combine the accounts (hopefully I have missed something) but what I could suggest (to get your email on the Pro account) is on account 1 change the email to a account you have access to (if you dont have more than one) then go to the Pro account and hopefully it will allow you to change email to the one you want on it.
With regards to moving the Pro Licence from one account to another, this is not possible at the user level afraid Voltas will (if they can / will) have to do this for you as far as i am aware.

I am now realizing what a colossal mistake it was to use Apple Login to create an OBDeleven account. I wasn't fully aware of the challenges it could pose. For example, the Android OBDeleven doesn't even offer Apple Login option. Since my pro lisence is tied to the account I created with Apple Login so basically, I can't even login to the OBDeleven app on an Android to test out the features! What a mess!!

Morning, firstly I agree its a mess but hopefully Support can offer some help on Monday.
I have both Android and Apple phones but don't use the apple id function and dont wont to test till support confirm I can undo it.
I agree the Android function does not allow you to enter apple id in user profile but have you actually tried to log in using the apple id on an android phone.
As an aside on your apple account does it actually let you set an email address or is that now removed as you will have to use your apple id mail address Secondly is there any obvious function that allows you to remove the apple id (don't do it just wonder if there is something on the screen that allows you to remove it)

I am not sure if I understand your question entirely but I will try to do my best... 1. When you use Apple ID to create an OBDeleven log, it will ask you if you want to share or hide your email address (which would be you Apple ID email) from the vendor (OBDeleven in this case). If you chose NOT to share then Apple will create a random email address, something like xxxxxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com and share that with the vendor. So, the vendor will NOT know you real Apple ID email address. I guess it's very good for privacy and security but I don't know how well it works for vendors that haven't figured out all the fine details yet, like in my case. I chose "NOT" to share my email, while creating the account so the email in my profile on my iPhone app is ****@privaterelay.appleid.com. Had I chosen otherwise, I think my problem would have been more manageable.
Here is the problem....OBDeleven website doesn't have any provision for Apple ID login. So, there is no way I can login to the website with the account I have on my iPhone app. You see the problem?
2. I don't see any option to delete just the Apple ID and create a new ID. I think I will need to delete the account, in which case, I think I will lose my Pro license. There is an option to link an email address. This is the option I had told you in one of my previous replies. But when I try to add an email, which the email of my account #1 (idea being that from #2, I link to #1) I get an error and the email doesn't register.
I hope I answered your question...:-)

Thank you yes you have answered my question, Just wanted to make sure we could not work around it and it appears the answer is no.
Afraid you will have to take with support and hopefully they can fix it.
