I have just purchased a 2017 e-golf and am waiting for my OBDeleven module.
This car, although first registered in my country (New Zealand) is of the UK spec and therefore doesn't come loaded with NZ maps. This causes the "traffic sign recognition: currently restricted" warning to go off everytime. How do I disable the warning? Or at least the warning sound? I am still able to use the camera to detect traffic signs although it does not get speed limit data from the navigation system.
Loading the NZ map into the database may not be possible as the firmware is likely to be of a different region and may not accept the NZ map.
