Looking for some input if any have come across this. When I go to live engine data the screen is just black and won’t load anything. Everything else on the app seems to work as it should. Using an Apple phone. 2017 vw gli. Any help would be greatly appreciated? Thanks

on the assumption you have done a backup, does it work when you are offline (eg not actually connected to the car.

No it doesn’t. I have not backed it up yet. I mainly got it to be able to check timing. I have searched online and haven’t found any help

OK, Afraid as its a Friday the support team have gone home for the weekend so at this point not much point in trying to reach out to them. When you go into the control unit screen, each control unit is listed with a number that sits is a colored round circle. What color is you control unit 01 is it Black, Green or Red.

I appreciate what you have bought it for but have you tried running a scan.
For this to work fully you do need Bluetooth on and a good internet connection

have you tried live data in a different control unit - eg is it a general problem with live data or just with engine control unit.
One last thought i presume you are on IOS 11.00 Or higher

In that case I am afraid it talk with support via web site chat system or in app help function.
I dont see why it makes any difference but sometimes it does work, Uninstall the app and reinstall and see if that helps.
