Hi everybody,
I've got a Golf mk7 of 2013 without MFSW and without cruise control. My goal is to retrofit both of those and make cruise control work on the MFSW not the turn sign lever.
I purchased the following cruise control kit from the dealer: shop.ahw-shop.de/original-vw-tempomat-gra-fuer-golf-vii-sportsvan-schaltgetriebe-mfl?c=5155
Before installing the kit I purchased the gateway high 5Q0907530F and installed it and removed CP by the dealer. I also changed the airbag harness. The multifunctional buttons worked right away (except the cruise control buttons) and I am happy with it. See a picture of my steering wheel
When cruise control is activated by the dealer (they also run the wire from the steering wheel column to the ECU), they told me that they couldn't make cruise control work with the buttons on the steering wheel. It doesn't let them code other options other than turn signal lever.
I tried to do it myself with OBDeleven but when I select something else other than turn signal lever, I get the error (31) Function not available. See the screenshots bellow.
The guy at the dealer advised me to just buy a turn signal lever with cruise control to solve the problem, but I do not want to do that. Is there somebody that can guide me to the right path?
In the Gateway adaptation "Multi_function_steering_wheel_control_module Coding Value" version I have the following:
I actually need to have GRA_High instead of CSS, but I do not have that to select.
I coded the value High under MuFu-variant_Seat but it did not work niether.
I am now thinking that I need to change the steering wheel column, but I am not sure which one can provide the adaptation "Multi_function_steering_wheel_control_module Coding Value-MuFu-variant_VW" where I can select GRA_High.
