Hi,
For somebody living north you probably experience snow and ice packing in on front wiper. Removing snow in this area can be eased by lifting wiper. With mk7 lifting wiper are not possible due to wipers placed under the hood edge. Is this a way to add service mode in the unit display to facilitate that operation like on a Audi B8 out of the box option.

finito : I most definitely don't live "north" (I'm in the very deep south where it's summer now) - but try changing Front_wiper-Menuesteuerung Frontwischer to active in the central electrics module (use the security code 31347 if needed).
But a quicker way might be to hold-down the wiper stalk lever for a while - I think (at least this works on RoW models)

Will that show under the car -> wiper menu?
Tried that and nothing happens
I only have two options: 1) automatic wipers setting and 2) wipe once when in reverse

Try this Ignition on then off and then push the wiper stalk down. The wipers should then move into the service position in the middle of the screen. It will go back to the normal position when you put the ignition on and use the wipers.

finito and lordnikon as far as I am aware there is no menu option for the service mode just follow sgt1297 instructions and it will go to Service mode.

I'm aware of the service position using the stalk. Just thought it would be nice if there is an alternative.
