Hello, i tried to retrofit rearview camera to my 8/2016 model 2017 AUDI A4 B9, but when trying to access rear view camera module i get message “Control unit not responding. Check ignition and try again”

I added this module and it is marked as 6C in black circle.

I would like to know
1. What is causing this problem?
2. Can I make this black circle red/green so it would allow me to enter into it or this cannot be changed since I added this module.

Another reason would be there's no power to the camera, so you should check the 12V connection on the boot fusebox

Has anyone tried/had luck with the suggested solution of disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting?
