I have been trying to code my 2016 golf and I keep getting the "something went wrong" red box error
i have enabled vim and managed to access the dashboard module but constantly getting the error on central electrics module
I cannot change anything within that module
i have previously done mods within that module on 2014s
any ideas

^^^ Have you guys tried clearing the storage cache for the OBD11 App and then restart the App?
Itt's done a little different on the different versions of Android, but basically, you can clear the cache like this:
Step 1: Head to the Settings menu. This can be done by tapping the cog icon in your notification shade.
Step 2: Find Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu, then locate the app that you want to clear the cache or data for.
Step 3: Tap on Storage and the buttons for clearing the cache

Hi dv52,
I already tried that, same result. I can view the Info and history, but thats about it.
I can see on the history the long code used to show the fan speed on auto. Maybe the app use some other way to communicate with the module?
I was trying to see if the AC is set for "hot country" btw.
Thanks

I could not access anything on 01 Engine nor 08 AC. I deleted app cache and data, then logged back in. Now I can get 01 Engine adaptations, but still cannot access anything in 08 AC nor 01 Engine coding. "Something went wrong, please try again..." I will try yet another app data delete later, tough to get motivated to go out in the cold here just to see the app not working again...

Hi,
I have tried to clean data and cache, log in again, same error.
But the "App" works on the same module (Show the Fan Speed on Auto).

Either something went wrong or Data error when accessing 01 or 08. Have reset all data - still the same... Going to be very miffed if not sorted......
